STRABANE Martial Arts Academy (SMAA) was a hive of activity as it hosted an open sparring session for female members ahead of this weekend's Artemis fight night.
Taking place at the club's base on Derry Road in the town, members of Bangor Martial Arts Acdemy, Strike Martial Arts and Academy and the Team Ryano Limavady Ladies attended the event which offered the Strabane ladies the chance to get in some quality rounds ahead of Saturday's showpiece.
Three members of SMAA will be in action at the ISKA sanctioned fight night being held at Shorts Sports and Recreation Club.
Nicol Pojawa will be fighting for an ISKA title (61KG K1 Cadet) against Nikole Glinkina, Kerry McColgan will face Tashia Alexandrea in catchweight 68KG K1 and Niamh Cawley will take omn Maira Rodrigues in the 67KG catchweight K1.
A club spokesperson said: "All three are in excellent shape, looking sharp and super fit.
"TEAMÂ SMAA are coming in hot and settling for nothing less than wins.
"We're very lucky to have five girls on the card with Alice Duffy and Mila Logue taking to the ring also in exhibition bouts.
"A massive shoutout to the girls in a very successful camp, training twice a day five days a week, pushing the boundaries and showing great professionalism.
Belfast....TEAM SMAA are coming."
