MEMBERS of Northern Ireland’s rural community are being asked to give their views on the Housing Executive’s draft rural strategy this Spring.

Feedback on the new strategy, which will cover the period up to 2031, is being sought at a drop-in event and online with a range of rural stakeholders being asked to have their say before March 20.

Rural and Regeneration manager, Pamela Johnston said, “We are passionate about our strategy being reflective of real issues facing residents across every rural area including villages, townlands and hamlets in Northern Ireland.

“We want to hear from people living in our diverse rural areas which all have their own unique strengths, issues and concerns.

“The draft strategy has been carefully co-designed with our rural partners.

“Whether you are a member of the public, a community group, partner or stakeholder your input to this strategy is important to us.

“You can get involved in this exciting process in several ways.

“The draft document can be found on our website at https://www.nihe.gov.uk/
