ROYAL British Legion (RBL) branches across the district are preparing to hold services to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.
This year's Remembrance Day services will take place on Sunday, November 9.
Civic leaders, members of the Legion, councillors and the public will gather to pay respects to those who lost their lives in two World Wars and other conflicts.
Strabane RBL will be holding their service in St James Church in Donemana at 3pm.
The parade, led by Barron Accordion Band, will form at Allen Park at 2pm for inspection before leaving at 2.30pm to make its way along Longland Road for the church service.
An Act of Remembrance service will be held earlier in the day at the war memorial on Derry Road in Strabane beginning at 9am.
Participants are asked to gather from 8.45am.
Wreathes will be laid during the short service while also in attendance and taking part will be councillors, youth groups and members of the clergy.
The local branch has encouraged a large turnout for a day of remembrance and reflection.
Services will also take place throughout the district including Castlederg, Newtownstewart and Sion Mills.
