The Logues rock Alley stage

CASTLEDERG folk rock band, The Logues, rounded off another busy year with its annual New Year's Eve Eve Party at the Alley Theatre.

In what is now something of an end-of-year tradition, the Tyrone musicians brought the house down at the Strabane venue as they performed to a packed house.

The Logues have become one of the most sought-after live acts in the country due to their inimitable 'psycho ceilidh', 'whisky-soaked-folk' and raucous performances made up of a mix of high energy original material and covers of classic songs that have been given the unique 'Logues' twist.

For the band, it was the end of another successful year.

"What a show," they said. "A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our annual New Year's Eve Eve Party in the Alley Theatre."
