SEAN Hurd was the week’s big winner on Sunday with a spectacular 59 Nett in the Silverbirch Hotel Open Stroke.
Marcus Quinn won the Gross with a 79.
Trevor McFarland won the Scott’s Fuels Open Stableford on Saturday.
His 42 points off 14 was just enough to defeat Kenny Henderson on break of tie.
Kenny had to settle for a division prize along with Ian Black and Hugh Coyle. Steven Galbraith took the Gross prize.
A late result from last Sunday saw Noel Gailey win the Sean O’Doherty Cup sponsored by Mark Armstrong Plumbing.
Division winners were Raymond Quinn, Keith Pollock and David Smyth.
Anita McCay won this week’s ladies competition, the Lyons Brothers Stroke and Newtownstewart Perpetual Trophy, with an excellent 66 nett off 24.
There were section wins for Marie McSorley, Christina McNamee and Hilary Duncan.
Debbie McCaffrey won the gross prize while Gerarda Fitzpatrick was successful in the 9 hole.
Congratulations to Robert Hayes, Malcolm Finlay and Irvine McFarland who all qualified for the ULTRA Charity Finals Day.
The Open Week continues and on Thursday it's the Bradley’s Pharmacy Ladies Open Stableford.
Friday sees the Dimac Showgrounds Open Four Person Scramble (any combination) which will be followed by the club's annual barbecue and dance.
On Saturday, the club will host the popular Coulter’s Photography Claret Jug Open Stroke and on Sunday it's the ULTRA Mens Open Stableford – not to be confused with the ULTRA Finals Day on August 27.

"his is a four person team event. The entry fee is £160 per team and covers a meal and drinks with snacks available on the course.
"The event’s main sponsor is Bradley’s Pharmacy and there will be over £3,000 worth of prizes available.
