The Sion Mills beavers who won their section of the Strabane and District 5-a-side football competition in 1993, pictured with their leader, Debbie McFarland. The captain, Simon Gough also won an award for scoring the most goals.
Mr Paul Doherty and his son, Ciaran, and Mr Sean McIntyre with his son, Gavin, who were with St Colman’s Playgroup, Strabane, at the Northern Ireland Pre-School Playgroups Association day out at Belfast Zoo in 1993. The boys were among 6,500 children from all over the Province to visit the zoo under the auspices of NIPPA.
