League wins for Artigarvan and Strabane Reserves

North West Junior League

THERE were wins for Artigarvan and Strabane Athletic Reserves in their North West Junior League (NWJL) games on Saturday.

Artigarvan were away to Walled City United coming away with a 2-1 win in Division One.

Scorers for the north Tyrone men were Conor McGinley and Dylan Clarke.

Sion Swifts shared the points with Enagh Rovers in a 3-3 goalfest at Melvin, while Donemana's game against Tullyally Colts was postponed.

Strabane AFC Reserves were also on the road in the Premier Division and came away with a 6-3 win against BBOB Londonderry.

In a great all-round team performance, Kyle Harte and Rory McDermott scored barces with Shay Devine and Aaron Doherty also on the scoresheet.

This weekend, the teams are in Matt Morrison Cup action.

Strabane Athletic Reserves host Artigarvan in a big derby clash at Melvin 3G.

Donemana are home to Maghera Strollers, while Sion Swifts will host Walled City United at the Glebe.

All games are scheduled for a 1.30pm kick-off.
