SION Swifts Ladies will go in search of cup glory this weekend when they contend the Northern Ireland Women's Football Association (NIWFA) Barclays Championship League Cup final.
Their opponents are this season's Championship winners, St James Swifts Ladies, who they also faced in their final league game of the season last week.
Indeed, it's a repeat of last season's decider with the two sides facing one another again for the trophy which is currently held by Sion.
In that encounter, the Swifts were victorious in a closely contested final winning 3-2 thanks to strikes from Caoimhne Heron, Chloe Boyle and Hannah Gibson.
The final will be staged this Saturday at Moyola Park with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm
The north Tyrone ladies sealed their place in this weekend's final after they emerged victorious in the semi-final at Glenkeen Avenue in a tightly fought encounter with Greenisland, with the game eventually only being decided by a single late strike from Hannah Gibson in the 86th minute.
St James made the final courtesy of a second half comeback at Ballymena United, eventually winning 3-2.
Sion Swifts is urging supporters to come out in force to cheer the side on in what is hoped will be another memorable weekend for the club.
"Saturday brings us the League Cup final - a repeat of last year’s showdown," a spokesperson said.
"With the league’s top two sides going head-to-head, it’s guaranteed to be a brilliant game of football."
The club is running a supporters bus which has a few spaces available.
"Message to secure your spot! If not make the journey yourselves and get the support in full," the spokesperson added.
"Let’s make this one to remember.
"Get behind the girls as they go for glory in another cup final."
"Good luck girls. Enjoy the build up and preparations."
Admission to the game is £3 for adults, £2 for seniors and U16s are free.
