STRABANE Athletic will be hoping to bring the curtain down on a successful season by adding another piece of silverware to the trophy cabinet.
The club have already won the O'Gorman Cup and the Ballymena and Provincial Football League's Intermediate Division One title, and on Saturday they also secured promotion to the third tier of the Irish League - the Premier Intermediate League (PIL).
After narrowly missing out last season, Raymond Foy’s team got it right this time with a 4-1 aggregate victory over Mid Ulster Intermediate League Champions, Crewe United.
Leading 3-1 from the first leg, a Simon McGlynn penalty helped Athletic to a memorable play-off win in front of a jubilant crowd of home supporters at Melvin Park Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Tonight (Thursday), Foy's men will face Dunloy FC in the Crawford Cup final.
The encounter will be played at Allen Park, Co Antrim, with kick-off at 7.30pm.
