STRABANE Athletic Ladies will host their first home match of the new Northern Ireland Women's Football Association (NIWFA) campaign this evening (Wednesday).
Liam Lynch's side currently sit top of Division Three having amassed maximum points from their first three outings against Craigavon City Ladies (3-1), Lisburn Ladies Swifts (2-0) and Banbridge Town Ladies (4-1).
They face a tough test taking on Shamrock Ladies in a bid to maintain their perfect league start.
Kick-off at Melvin Sports Complex is at 7.30pm.
It's been a busy period for the Strabane outfit.
They took on Banbridge Town Ladies away in the league last Wednesday evening, with goals from Rachael McSparron and Molly McBride, as well as a brace from Ellie-Jay McMenamin, ensuring a win and all three points.
Just 48-hours later they were back in action in the Electric Ireland Irish Cup at Melvin.
On Friday evening, Strabane took on Lisburn Rangers who currently sit top of the Championship, and were on the wrong end of an 8-0 scoreline.
Strabane lost their centre back Stacey Johnston on ten minutes through injury, while a red card to her sister, Hollie, for handball four minutes later meant it was always going to be an uphill battle.
"Our girls suffered defeat to a sternly talented side who sit top of the Championship[ and will give any Premiership side a good game too," a club spokesperson said of the defeat.
Meanwhile, Strabane will face Lisburn Distillery in a home tie in round two of the PWC SuperCup later this month, after round one opponents, Ambassadors, conceded the game on Monday night.
