Intercultural Music Evening in Sion Mills

THE local parish hall in Sion Mills was filled with the sound of music on Friday evening as the community gathered for an Intercultural Music Evening.

The event was hosted by Sion Mills Community (SMCF) in The Bog Hall and featured a variety of performances by a host of local talent.

Sion Mills Independent Pipe Band led proceedings, followed by Strabane Brass Band, Sollus Highland Dancers, Barrett School of Irish Dancing, a Ukrainian musical performance and Sion Mills Integrated Primary School's choir.

Food and refreshments were also served on the night.

The evening, which brought the community together through music and culture, was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance
