Ballymagorry Development Group fundraise for the North West Cancer Centre

A LOCAL community group has raised £1,000 for the North West Cancer Centre (NWCC) at Altnagelvin Hospital.

Brighter Ballymagorry Development Group (BBDG) raised the impressive sum through a series of fundraising events including a New Year's Day walk and Christmas raffle.

Memberrs of the group recently presented the proceeds to staff at the NWCC who expressed gratitude for the donation.

On behalf of Brighter Ballymagorry Development Group, Leslie Hetherington thanked the local community, friends and family for attending and supporting their fundraising events.

The monies raised will support patient comfort in NWCC.
