Strabane Academy pupils raise £2,600 for Cancer Focus

PUPILS and staff at Strabane Academy have raised a total of £2,600 for the Cancer Focus NI charity.

The funds were raised via a Think Pink Day and Hard as Oak fundraisers.

Speaking after presenting the grand total to the charity, a school spokesperson said: "We are absolutely thrilled to present £2,600 to the incredible team at Cancer Focus.

"This amazing amount was raised through our Think Pink and Hard as Oak fundraisers.

"A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported these events.

"Your generosity and enthusiasm have made a real difference for a brilliant charity.

"Special recognition goes to our fantastic Year 11 King’s Trust class and all the staff who worked tirelessly to make this happen.

"Well done, team, you’ve smashed it!"
