HAFNER'S Sausages - the brand that's been delighting Northern Ireland's tastebuds for generations - is calling on clubs and community groups across County Tyrone to apply for the £5,000 Hafner's Sports Fund 2025.

The sizzling initiative will award five cash prizes of £1,000 to help grassroots teams and projects keep people active and connected - from Omagh, Dungannon and Cookstown to Strabane, Coalisland, Castlederg and Fintona.

Applications are open from now until 23:59 on October 27 at www.hafnersfund.com.

Stephen Donnelly, commercial director at Arthur Mallon Foods, owners of Hafner's Sausages, said: "The response to last year's fund was incredible - we were blown away by the passion, the stories, and the difference that even a small amount of support can make to local clubs and communities.

"Grassroots sport is at the very heart of communities across Northern Ireland. It brings people together, keeps them active, and creates memories that last a lifetime.

"We're proud that the Hafner's Sports Fund can play a small part in supporting those efforts because strong communities and thriving local clubs are as important to us as producing the tastiest sausages.

"We can't wait to see the difference this year's awards will make."

From jerseys and goalposts to nets, bats and mats the Hafner's Sports Fund is here to keep the spirit of sport alive in every corner of County Tyrone.

Stephen concluded: "The judging panel will meet by mid November to review all of the entries.

"It's such a mammoth task trying to choose the winners but we must and they will be notified by November 14, 2025."

If your team, school or community project in County Tyrone could do with a £1,000 lift, don't miss out - get your application in today.
