DERGVIEW Football Club has issued an open invitation for everyone to join them for their ‘Be Colourful’ fundraiser for AutismNI at the end of the month.
Under the slogan ‘be kind to different minds’, Dergview FC and the Dergview FC Academy have joined forces to raise funds for this worthwhile local charity by staging an evening of fun and games at Darragh Park on Monday, April 28, kicking off at 6.30pm.
Chief orgnaiser, Melanie Sproule, is encouraging those in attendance to wear something bright and colourful to raise awareness of the developmental condition during World Autism Acceptance Month.
A number of guest coaches have been lined up for the event including former Northern Ireland international Ivan Sproule, current Portadown player Ryan Mayse, former club captain Blaine Burns and two of the club’s rising stars Ethan Nethery and Sam Sproule.
This event is open to absolutely everyone and a club spokesperson has encouraged those coming along to “get dressed up and be colourful what is sure to be a fun-filled evening."
