McGlynn runs a superb lifetime best

ATHLETES from Strabane AC enjoyed a fantastic day of racing at the Walled City 10 Mile Race at the weekend, in what was a superbly organised event with great conditions for running.

Leading the way was Ann-Marie McGlynn who set the standard by claiming the women's title in a superb lifetime best of 54:13.

Claire McGuigan also produced a strong performance, finishing fifth in the women's race in 59 minutes, just outside her personal best (PB).

Gary Devine was the club's first male finisher, crossing the line in 60 minutes, with Ryan Coyle not far behind after another solid run.

Overall it was a brilliant day for the club, with plenty of PBs, team spirit, fun and great camaraderie on display throughout the event.
