Bob and Berts coffee chain hoping to set up shop in Strabane

POPULAR Northern Ireland coffee chain Bob & Berts looks set to open in Strabane.
Speculation that the family-run business have been seeking to establish an outlet in the locality has been rife for a few months and now the owners of the artisian coffee shop have confirmed they are currently on the hunt for a location.
Last week, a post appeared on the company's official 'Bob and Berts Coffee' Facebook page stating: "Great day looking at sites in Strabane'.
It prompted a flurry of excitement among local people all eager to see the successful chain coming to the town.
The company's owners have since confirmed that plans are afoot to open a cafe in Strabane.
Speaking to the Strabane Weekly News, co-owner, Colin McClean, said: "We are currently looking sites in Strabane and its a target town for us."
He added: "We have not agreed any site yet but we hope to find a suitable site soon."
Bob & Berts was founded on the North Coast in Portstewart in 2013 and has grown rapidly across Northern Ireland.
In August last year, Bob & Berts announced its plans to open 30 new stores across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Scotland in over a four year period creating 600 jobs.
It currently employs 182 people across its 16 coffee shops. Locations include Coleraine, Belfast, Lisburn, Omagh and Portadown.
